UPDATE: UCE Lunch for Wednesday will need to be cold lunch again (we should return to hot lunch Thursday). The choices will be nachos with cheese or sandwich (PB&J, turkey, or ham sandwich). Thank you for your flexibility and patience!

UTSC had a great start to the school year! We're already learning, belonging, and celebrating at all our schools and in all of our classrooms, laying the foundation for another successful year. Thank you to our staff and families for working together and supporting each other!

Welcomed back our staff today with Eric Jenkins, 2024 Indiana Teacher of the Year. What an inspiration to start our school year! We are ready for our incredible students tomorrow!

There is a change to the lunch choice for tomorrow- there will be HOT DOGS (not waffles, as is stated on the menu).
Reminder: Tonight is school supply drop-off for K-5 families from 5:30-7:00 p.m.. There will be designated spaces outside each classroom to place supplies. PLEASE MAKE SURE STUDENT NAMES ARE MARKED ON THE SUPPLIES. There is also a K/1st Grade Meet and Greet tonight from 6-7 p.m.
We welcomed our new staff at the UTSC Teacher and Staff Orientation, we welcomed Benny the Bearcat and now we can't wait to welcome back our staff and students! It's going to be another fantastic school year at UTSC!
Meet Benny, the newest member of the Bearcat family! He's ready to score a touchdown and steal your heart! It’s gonna be a paw-some football season! 🧡🐾💚🏈📣Thank you to our Cheer Team! Benny is already loved!
Kindergarten and 1st Grade students are invited to attend Meet the Teacher Night from 6-7pm on Monday, August 12. NEW! Grades 2-5 can drop off supplies (teachers will not be present) on Monday, August 12 from 5:30-7pm as well.
We invite our UCE families and students for "Popsicles With the Principal" on Thursday, August 8th, with Mrs. Klein from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity to meet our new principal. We hope to see you there!

I will be in the library from 9-4 tomorrow with a book & a few craft choices from 11-12!
Don't forget those books to donate to the Free Little Library for our UCE staff!
