As the Home School Advisor, my main responsibility is to serve as the “link” between home and school. We are all aware that in order for our children to thrive, educators and parents need to work in unison. I assist students, parents, and teachers in a variety of ways. I communicate with staff and parents regarding information and concerns. I meet with students depending on need, and I also teach several classes to students throughout the year. Please keep us informed of any concern you have regarding your child. I look forward to working together with you to provide the best support for your child to be successful in the classroom.

A bit about Mrs. Fields:

JSE has been my work home for over ten years. I began my career at JSE as a Special Education Paraprofessional in 2005 and accepted the Home School Advisor position in 2009. I am a graduate of Purdue University and hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I am proud to both work and live in Union Township. My husband and I have 2 Wheeler Graduates and our youngest is a sophomore. Outside of work, I keep busy with reading, gardening, boating, fishing, and my 3 dogs! I also love doing lots of DIY projects around our house!
