Hello my virtual kiddos! Today I was able to put all my virtual kids in a group so I can email you easily! You all should be super proud of me that I learned how to do this! Technology and I are learning to get along pretty well with each other! The reason for my email is just to say hello to you guys and see how things are going now that you just about FINISHED your first 3 days of virtual! The teachers have said that you all are doing a FANTASTIC job! Please keep up the good work. Since I will not be able to see you in advisory, I wanted to remind you, that you can contact me whenever you need for help. This can be if you wanted to talk about anything that is bothering you, if you need help with an assignment, or if you just wanted to say hello! We can either talk over email, do a google hangout ( which means we are pretty much direct messaging back and forth like a text message on the computer) or we even video conference! I will be emailing you to check in, so please, please write me back and let me know how you are doing. Even though you are not physically here in school, I am still your counselor and I am here for YOU! Take good care, keep doing AWESOME and enjoy your weekend!!!

Good morning UTMS family, We are constantly working towards the safety of our students, staff and community during these times. Additionally, working with the Porter County Health Department to monitor cases in the area. As a preventative measure to protect our community, we have chose to cancel our open house on August 10th. In light of the cancellation, please use our virtual orientation available here: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1E1nh_jR8QgAnzbkmdMB35-ThsQnt3oEgMy0syxh1868/edit?usp=sharing Also, do not feel required to bring all supplies on day 1. We understand that may feel overwhelming! We will all be out and about to help students on that first morning, find & open lockers, classrooms, teachers, etc. I truly appreciate your understanding and flexibility during this time. We will all get through this together and have a wonderful school year! Thank you, Mr. Goeringer
